Irregular leagues and poor management of mofussil games have undermined the spirit of the sport.

The love for football in Nepal has been diminishing or this is what the people in the field perceive to be the case. Nepal’s international matches, be it men’s or women’s, are still a serious concern for Nepalis, but domestic football, which keeps the passion alive and kicking round the year, has failed to interest them.
