Drone Tested for Relief Delivery in Trisuli

Rasuwa. A drone to be used for delivering relief materials in flood-affected areas has been tested and brought into use in the Trisuli river. The Chinese government has provided four drones to Nepal for the transportation of food and other relief materials in flood-affected areas.

According to Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation Mahabir Pun, the maximum capacity of these drones is 100 kilograms. The drones, which can carry about 75 to 80 kilograms of relief materials in one flight, will now be deployed in flood-affected areas including Rasuwa.
