Ghosts of Assam In Digital Form Scarier

More than a decade ago, author Pranavjyoti Deka brought out a bilingual lexicon on all things Assamese and the chapter was on about 60 types of ghosts and spirits – some benevolent, mostly evil. Now, Chinmoy Barma, a mechanical engineer-turned-short filmmaker, has given digital shape to some of these souls through artificial intelligence-powered software.
