Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar resigns from office

Kathmandu. Bihar Chief Minister and senior Janata Dal (United) leader Nitish Kumar has resigned from his post. Kumar, who has held power in Bihar for a long time, submitted his resignation on Tuesday.

Following his resignation, he issued a statement on the social media platform X, thanking everyone who supported him during his tenure. He also pledged his 'full support and guidance' to the new government to be formed in Bihar.
