Government Moves to Remove Political Student Organizations from Schools and Universities

Kathmandu. The government has announced the removal of structures of political student organizations operating within the premises of schools and universities to completely free the education sector from partisan politics.

It is stated that the government made this announcement through the '100-Point Agenda for Governance Reform' with the objective of ending political interference in educational institutions and giving space to the genuine voice of students.
