Traffic Resumes on BP Highway in Kavrepalanchok After Flood Disruption

Traffic resumed on the BP Highway this morning at 6:00 AM after being blocked due to floods in the Roshi River following Friday evening's rainfall in Kavrepalanchok. The District Police Office has requested travelers to exercise caution while driving, even though two-way traffic has been restored on the road.

The highway had been blocked for two days after the rainfall starting Friday washed away temporary roads in the Roshi area. The office stated that the road was temporarily reopened via a diversion after the water level in the river subsided. Previously, the office had restricted vehicle movement until the highway was cleared.
