Ministry of Foreign Affairs initiates efforts to repatriate Amrit Jha from Iran

Kathmandu. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has initiated efforts to bring Amrit Jha back to Nepal. Immediately following Jha's release, the ministry issued a statement confirming that steps are being taken to facilitate his return.

The statement noted that information regarding the local court's order for Jha's release was received informally through the Honorary Consul General of Nepal in Tehran.
