Government announces budget of 1 Trillion 751 billion 310 million rupees

KATHMANDU, May 29: The budget for the upcoming fiscal year 2080/81 will be equal to 1 Trillion 751 billion 310 million rupees. Finance Minister Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat announced the budget while addressing the Federal Parliament on Monday, where 1 Trillion 141 billion 780 million rupees have been allocated on the current side, 302 billion 70 million rupees on the capital side and 307 billion 450 million rupees on the financial management side.

The government has brought a budget with a plan to cut costs. According to this, the budget has taken the goal of reviving an economy headed for recession.
