632 families in Baglung wait government subsidy to rebuild damaged shelters

KATHMANDU: Tilak Thapa of Kushmisera of Jaimini municipality -1 in Baglung lost his home to a landslide triggered by heavy monsoon rainfall three years ago. He was a little bit hopeful of finding a new home when he came to know that the government would be assisting them to rebuild the house.

It has been about two years since he submitted the documents required for claiming the government subsidy to the local government, but no further progress so far.
