Letang curfew lifted

KATHMANDU: MARCH. 24 – The curfew imposed in Morang’s Letang Municipality has been lifted after three days. Since 6 a.m., the curfew has been lifted.

A meeting of the district security committee held on Wednesday had decided to lift the curfew. On Holi, a local teacher in Letang-5 sexually abused a female student at his own school, escalating tensions. Urmila Shrestha, a police constable, was killed in a clash between locals and security personnel on Sunday.
