Nepal Weather Update: Mixed Conditions Bring Rain to Hills and Heat to Terai

Kathmandu. Nepal is currently experiencing mixed weather conditions due to the partial influence of westerly and local winds. According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, while cloud cover persists in the hilly and mountainous regions, the Terai districts are witnessing rising temperatures and intense heat.

Currently, the hilly and mountainous areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces are experiencing partly cloudy conditions. Some hilly parts of Gandaki province are even seeing light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning. While other hilly regions remain partially cloudy, the weather in the Terai remains generally clear.
