Prachanda the turncoat

At a time when the country is experiencing economic doldrums, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal "Prachanda" chose to show his true colours.

Unceremoniously breaking up with alliance partner CPN-UML, Prachanda revived the old coalition with Nepali Congress (NC). The two-month camaraderie with UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli was just a show for Prachanda. Just when the countrymen were expecting a stable government with left parties at the helm, Prachanda backstabbed Oli to revive the ideologically unholy alliance with NC.
