Ncell’s Lainchaur green park in Kathmandu: A false hope

Ncell Axiata Limited has recently completed the Lainchaur Green Park project as a part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative.

With an aim to focus on people’s welfare contributing to a green, clean and healthy environment, a year ago, it signed a memorandum of understanding with the Kathmandu metropolitan city’s ward 26 for maintaining the green park. Ncell CEO Andy Chong had stated this CSR initiative would be prioritising sustainability while also taking climate action goals.
