US Navy Destroys Three Oil Tankers Linked to IRGC After Iranian Attack

Washington DC. The US military said on Saturday that it had attacked and destroyed three oil tankers associated with the 'Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC)'. This attack was carried out after the Iranian military organization fired shots at a US warship.

"After Iran's failed attack, Centcom destroyed the oil tanker M/T Downey, led by the IRGC, near Kharg Island, and M/T Stark-1 near Jask," the US military's Central Command (Centcom) said in a statement on X.
