Opposition Leader Lapid Slams Netanyahu, Proposes New Gov’t Led by Another Likud Member

Agency : Opposition leader Yair Lapid said Wednesday that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “must go now,” and called for the government to be overthrown in a vote of no-confidence, allowing the formation of a new government headed by another Likud member.

In an interview with Israel’s Channel 12 News, Lapid said that “We cannot allow ourselves to conduct a prolonged [military] campaign with a prime minister we simply do not trust.”
