Former President Bhandari Urges Prioritization of Flood Relief and Reconstruction

Kathmandu. Former President Bidya Devi Bhandari has stated that rescue and relief, along with the resettlement of displaced and affected families, reconstruction of damaged structures, and normalization of life in the affected areas, should be given high priority following the devastating flood in the Bhote Koshi river in Rasuwa.

Issuing a message on Friday, former President Bhandari urged for effective coordination among the federal, provincial, and local levels for rescue, relief, and resettlement, and for the mobilization of necessary resources, means, and technical manpower.
