Federal Parliament to Convene Today: Dol Prasad Aryal to be Formally Declared Speaker

Kathmandu. Meetings of both houses of the Federal Parliament, the House of Representatives and the National Assembly, are scheduled for today. The House of Representatives will formally declare Dol Prasad Aryal of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) as the elected Speaker, while the National Assembly has an agenda to present various nominations and reports.

Aryal was already elected unopposed as Speaker on Friday.
