Election Commission Resumes Voter Registration Process

Kathmandu. The voter registration process, which was suspended for the House of Representatives election, is set to resume today. The Election Commission had halted the registration work starting from Mangsir 6 for the House of Representatives election. The Commission's meeting on Chaitra 18 decided to restart the voter registration process.

Commission Joint Secretary and Spokesperson Narayan Prasad Bhattarai informed that the suspended program is being resumed starting today. The Commission stated that arrangements have been made for Nepali citizens who have obtained a National Identity Card number to register their names in the voter list through an online system using their National Identity Card details.
