Writ of habeas corpus of four including Press Secretary Raut scheduled for hearing

KATHMANDU, July 16: In the case of Lalita Niwas, the writ of habeas corpus filed by Communication Secretary Krishna Bahadur Raut, Bhatbhateni Supermarket operator Min Bahadur Gurung, and others who are in the custody of the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB), has been scheduled for a hearing.

The joint bench of Supreme Court Justices Sushmalata Mathema and Til Prasad Shrestha will hear the writ filed. In addition to secretary Raut, and businessman Gurung, former election commissioner Sudhir Kumar Shah and ex-employee of Land Revenue Office Dharma Prasad Gautam filed the writ of habeas corpus.
