Massive Flood Damage to Trishuli River Infrastructure, Reconstruction Underway

Kathmandu. Massive floodwaters from China have caused significant damage to road infrastructure in the Trishuli River and surrounding areas.

According to the Department of Roads, approximately 55 kilometers of road and 35 bridges have been completely damaged in Dhading, Nuwakot, and Rasuwa, with an initial estimated damage of 30 billion.
