UML demands retention of temporary, contract employees

KATHMANDU: The main opposition CPN (UML) has urged the Federal, Province and local governments not to relieve employees working on the contract and temporary basis.

Stating that employees appointed on temporary, contract and daily-wages basis at the three-tier government are being discharged with the commencement of the new fiscal year, the party demanded the job security of those employees.
