Bajura Road Blocked by Landslides Due to Continuous Rain

Bajura. The Sanphe-Martadi road section connecting the district headquarters has been obstructed due to landslides in various places with continuous rain in Bajura. The road has been obstructed due to landslides from above the road in places like Karagar Mod, Binod Smriti Pratikshyalaya, Selagad, Suvakandh in Martadi, Badimalika Municipality-9 due to continuous rain last night.

Similarly, landslides have also occurred in Rangka of Badimalika Municipality-8 and Jadanga of Ward No. 6, obstructing the road, informed Gagan Singh Bhat, Police Inspector at the District Police Office. A police team of five people under the command of Police Assistant Inspector Laxmi Dutt Bhatt has been dispatched to the scene immediately after receiving information about the road obstruction. The District Police Office stated that the police team is making efforts to clear the landslide and bring the road into operation using a JCB from Badimalika Municipality and the Road Department. Police have stated that there is a risk of landslides in other parts of the road due to continuous rain.
