Bagmati Province Chief Minister Prioritizes Small Infrastructure for Public Convenience

Kathmandu. Bagmati Province Chief Minister Kiran Thapa Magar has stated that the provincial government has given high priority to the construction of small but important infrastructure that brings ease to the daily lives of the people. He mentioned that the government is moving forward with the commitment, "Where the needs of the people are, the presence of the provincial government should be there."

According to Chief Minister Thapa Magar, a tuain has been installed and put into operation at Devighat in Nuwakot with the active involvement of the Infrastructure Development Office, Nuwakot, under the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure of the Bagmati Province Government. He expressed confidence that with the tuain in operation, it will facilitate crossing the Trishuli river back and forth and the transportation of essential goods such as food and medicine at the local level. "Even though such work may seem small, it holds great significance in people's lives during times of disaster, scarcity, and hardship," said Chief Minister Thapa Magar.
