Since making its debut in the Nepali market in 2021 , Spotify , the world’s largest music streaming platform, has been gaining popularity.

A substantial number of listeners, alongside Nepali singers and songwriters, have embraced the trend, contributing to the platform’s widespread usage in Nepal. Music enthusiasts are now uploading their tracks to a platform that has become a staple on the smartphones of a majority of urban Nepalis.
