Paris. Liverpool's Champions League campaign is in jeopardy following a disappointing defeat against defending champions Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). Liverpool lost 2-0 to PSG, marking their 16th defeat of the season.

In the first leg of the quarter-final held in the French capital, the hosts PSG dominated throughout the match, while Liverpool failed to register a single shot on target. PSG took the lead in the 11th minute when a strike from Desire Doue deflected off Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk and looped over goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili into the net.
