Visit Bharatpur

Nepal experienced a significant decline in the inflow of both international and domestic tourists due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, forcing the government to cancel the already announced Visit Nepal 2020 campaign. Tourism activities are bouncing back in the post-pandemic recovery phase now but challenges still remain. In response to the challenges faced by this sector, the Bharatpur Metropolitian City has rolled out the Visit Bharatpur 2024 initiative as a strategic plan to revitalise Chitwan’s tourism industry. This promotion scheme aims to attract domestic and foreign visitors to Bharatpur, thereby boosting the tourism activities. The campaign seeks to stimulate economic growth, promote cultural exchange, and rejuvenate the tourism sector in the region. Exploring Bharatpur through the Visit Bharatpur 2024, the programme seeks to lure visitors with a unique attractions offered by the metropolis.
