Hundreds of loan sharking victims nationwide come forward with complaints

1,937 complaints, majority from Madhesh, received in eight days. Victims in Kathmandu say they will continue their protest until perpetrators are booked.

A total of 1,937 complaints were registered against loan sharks across the country until August 21, with the highest—1330—filed in the Madhesh Province.
