Tourists arrival increasing in Bardiya National Park

BARDIYA, June 10: Despite the rising temperature the arrival of domestic and foreign tourists has started to increase in Bardiya National Park. As wild animals including tigers can be seen easily during the summer season the number of tourists to the park has increased, said the Assistant conservation officer of the park, Badri Binod Dahal.

The majority of the tourists come to Bardiya to get a glimpse of tigers in the wild. The number of wild tigers in the national park has increased to 125. In the previous season summer, the park had received 1000 visitors, now it has already reached around 6,000.
