The event honoured veteran singer Yadav Kharel with a Lifetime Achievement Award.
The fifth edition of the National Music Awards was held on Thursday, marking Radio Kantipur’s 24th anniversary. The nominees for the awards were selected by assessing songs featured on the radio station from August 2021 to August 2022.
