Nepal's House of Representatives to Elect Deputy Speaker Today

Kathmandu. The election for the Deputy Speaker is taking place today. The House of Representatives meeting scheduled for 4:00 PM today includes the selection of the Deputy Speaker on its agenda.

The contest for the Deputy Speaker position will be between Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) lawmaker Saraswati Lama and Shram Sanskriti Party lawmaker Ruby Kumari Thakur. Only two candidacies were filed within the designated time for registration.
