Construction of Bailey Bridge Begins Over Tilave River in Parsa

Parsa. The construction of a Bailey bridge has commenced over the Tilave River in Parsa. Work on the bridge, located on the border of Birgunj Metropolitan City and Bahudarmai Municipality, has resumed after a hiatus of nearly a year and a half.

Construction was halted due to the monsoon season in 2081 Bikram Sambat. The lack of a bridge has caused significant difficulties for vehicular movement in the region. Manoj Prasad Patel, Chief of the Narayani Irrigation Management Office, stated that the 48-meter-long Bailey bridge is being constructed slightly downstream from the site of the damaged bridge.
