Supreme Court issues interim order to prevent removal of foreign employment board executive director Uprety

The court held that Uprety’s premature dismissal could constitute a violation of his rights.

The Supreme Court has issued an interim order preventing the removal of foreign employment board’s executive director Dwarika Prasad Uprety from his position. The single bench of Justice Bal Krishna Dhakal issued the order in response to the Ministry of Labour, Employment, and Social Security’s decision to relieve Uprety of his duties.
