Seven Buddhist sites that need to be linked with Lumbini for greater tourism promotion

RUPANDEHI: MAY. 16 – The master plan for the development of the birthplace of the Buddha is in the completion phase.

This master plan prepared by the famous Japanese architect Prof Kenzo Tange (1913 -2005) is concluding nearly 40 years after it was first implemented. It took six years for Tange to draw up the Lumbini Master Plan.
