Karnali government set to begin rebuilding earthquake-damaged schools, hospitals

Official records show 34,501 houses in Jajarkot, 16,909 in Rukum West and over 4,600 in Salyan were damaged or destroyed by the November 2023 earthquake.

The Karnali province government has finally initiated reconstruction of earthquake-damaged buildings of community schools and health institutions a year after the disaster.
