At least 23 killed in firecracker factory explosion in India's Tamil Nadu

Kathmandu. At least 23 people have died in an explosion at a firecracker factory in Virudhunagar district of Tamil Nadu, India. Six others were injured in the incident and have been admitted to the hospital for treatment.

The firecracker factory is located in the Kattanarpatti area under the Vachakkarapatti police station in Virudhunagar district. More than 100 workers were employed at the factory, which had over 50 rooms.
