MCC Nepal Compact exempted from US aid pause, implementation to continue

KATHMANDU, June 18: The Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) Nepal Compact will continue without interruption, following a specific exemption approved by the US Secretary of State in February 2025. The exemption allows the compact to proceed with full implementation, despite an ongoing US government review of foreign assistance programs.
