Grandson Arrested for Allegedly Hacking Grandmother to Death in Myagdi

Myagdi. Her grandson has been arrested on charges of hacking to death 72-year-old Mankumari Ghimire with a sharp weapon in Khabara of Beni Municipality-2, Myagdi.

Around 11:30 AM on Monday, Mankumari was hacked to death with a sharp weapon by her daughter's son, 26-year-old Ashish Baruwal, who then fled. As soon as the news of the accused fleeing after attacking with a sharp weapon was received, a police team of 15 people led by Police Inspector Sagar Timilsina from the District Police Office, Myagdi, was dispatched.
