Nepal Post Awarded Asia-Pacific Postal Union Innovation Award 2026

Kathmandu. Nepal Post has received the Asia Pacific Postal Union (APPU) 'Innovation Award' for 2026 for the service it provides to remote areas.

The award was presented to the Postal Service Department at the 14th APPU Congress held in Bangkok, Thailand, from August 31 to September 4, informed Director General Manamaya Bhattarai Pangeni. The 'Service in Remote Areas' award was given in recognition of Nepal Post's initiative to expand services as a government courier service even in remote areas.
