Prime Minister Shah Emphasizes Strengthening Policy Bodies Over Dissolution

Kathmandu. Prime Minister Balendra Shah has clarified that instead of dissolving bodies like the National Planning Commission and the Policy Research Institute, the government will focus on strengthening them through reforms to make service delivery more effective.

During a discussion with officials and staff of the commission at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers on Tuesday, Prime Minister Shah stated that government service delivery can only be facilitated if planning and policy research are well-organized. "If these bodies can be reformed, it will provide significant support in running the government," he said.
