Exports via Birgunj Customs surge by 15 percent in nine months

Parsa. Goods and commodities worth Rs 79.54 billion have been exported to foreign countries through the Birgunj border point in the first nine months of the current fiscal year. According to the Birgunj Customs Office, exports have increased by Rs 10.19 billion, or 15 percent, compared to the same period in the previous fiscal year.

In the first nine months of the previous fiscal year, goods and commodities worth Rs 69.35 billion were exported. Uday Singh Bista, Information Officer at the Birgunj Customs Office, stated that exports through this border point have increased by 15 percent in the current fiscal year.
