Property Prerana Shah received as dowry to be transferred to Nepal Trust

KATHMANDU, July 28: The process of transferring the land and residence in Chhauni, which former King Gyanendra Shah had given to his daughter Prerana as dowry, to the Nepal Trust has moved forward. In February 2020, the Supreme Court (SC) ruled that the 15-ropani land and house in Chhauni legally belongs to the Nepal Trust. The court dismissed Prerana’s petition challenging previous verdicts and ruled in favor of the Trust.
