Govt to clear squatter settlements in first phase from four Kathmandu locations

KATHMANDU, April 24: The government has decided to begin the first phase of squatter settlement clearance in Thapathali, Manohara, Sinamangal and Gairigaun in Kathmandu, according to the Kathmandu Metropolitan Police. Authorities have indicated that remaining settlements will be addressed in subsequent phases.
