Passport Department Director General Arrested by CIAA

Kathmandu. Director General of the Department of Passports Tirtharaj Aryal has been taken into custody by the CIAA. A team from the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority arrested him from Tripureshwor.

A high-ranking official from the commission told Ratopati that he was taken into custody for investigation related to passport printing irregularities.

Security sources have confirmed that he was taken into custody from room number 301 of the department.
