प्रधानमन्त्री र मन्त्रीको सम्पत्ति छानबिन गर्न राष्ट्रिय जनमोर्चाको माग

काठमाडौं । राष्ट्रिय जनमोर्चाले प्रधानमन्त्रीसहित सम्पूर्ण मन्त्रीहरूको सम्पत्ति तत्काल छानबिन गर्न माग गरेको छ।

पार्टीका कार्यवाहक अध्यक्ष रश्मिराज नेपालीले विज्ञप्ति जारी गर्दै सम्पत्ति छानबिन आयोगको दायराबाट प्रधानमन्त्री र मन्त्रिपरिषद्का सदस्यहरूलाई बाहिर राख्ने निर्णयप्रति आपत्ति जनाए।

विज्ञप्तिमा भनिएको छ, ‘यो निर्णय सुशासनको मर्म विपरीत रहेको छ। तत्काल प्रधानमन्त्रीसहितका मन्त्रीहरूको पनि सम्पत्ति छानबिन गर्नुपर्छ। पञ्चायत कालदेखि वर्तमान समयसम्म भएका सबै भ्रष्टाचारजन्य प्रकरणहरूको जाँच गर्न एक अधिकारसम्पन्न, निष्पक्ष र तटस्थ आयोग गठन गरिनुपर्छ।’

प्रधानमन्त्री र मन्त्रीहरूको सम्पत्ति विवरण विवादमा तानिएको अवस्थामा पनि छानबिनको दायरामा नराख्ने मन्त्रिपरिषद्को निर्णय सरासर गलत भएको उल्लेख छ।

Kathmandu. The National Janamorcha has demanded an immediate investigation into the assets of all ministers, including the Prime Minister.

Party acting chairperson Rashmiraj Nepali, in a statement, expressed objection to the decision to exclude the Prime Minister and members of the Council of Ministers from the purview of the Assets Investigation Commission.

The statement said, "This decision is against the spirit of good governance. The assets of the Prime Minister and ministers should be investigated immediately. A fully empowered, impartial and neutral commission should be formed to investigate all corruption cases from the Panchayat period to the present."

It is stated that the decision of the Council of Ministers not to subject the assets of the Prime Minister and ministers to investigation even when the assets of the Prime Minister and ministers have been embroiled in controversy was completely wrong.
