Security Forces Deployed to Bajura Border Area After Clashes

Kathmandu. Additional security forces have been deployed in the Lampata area of Ward No. 3 of Himali Rural Municipality in Bajura. Additional security forces have been deployed in the area after clashes occurred between locals of Humla and Bajura over the issue of border dispute.

A team of 16 security personnel under the command of Inspector Laxmiraj Joshi has been sent to the disputed area for long route patrol, DSP Shaileshwari Bohara of Bajura told Ratopati. She said, 'A team has been sent because the local people there felt insecure.'
