Communist Party MP Defends Old Parties, Criticizes PM Shah's Remarks on Border

Kathmandu. The Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) has countered the accusation of being old and incompetent against old political parties. In Thursday's House of Representatives meeting, CPN MP Bhimkumari Buda stated that although the leaders of old parties are called old due to their physical condition and age, their thoughts and contributions will always remain new and relevant.

Speaking in the session, the MP expressed objection to the new forces that have recently emerged, saying they are mocking federalism and democratic achievements. ‘Federalism did not come about by chanting a spell or making TikTok videos,’ she said, ‘It is an achievement brought about by the blood of thousands of martyrs. Let this not be trifled with. We are alive, our thoughts are new and will always remain new.’
