नवजीवन सहकारीको अध्यक्षमा गोपालराज पाठक निर्वाचित

धनगढी । धनगढीस्थित नवजीवन सहकारी संस्थाको अध्यक्षमा गोपालराज पाठक निर्वाचित भएका छन् । निकटतम् प्रतिद्वन्द्वी केशवराज मिश्रको प्यानललाई क्लिन स्वीप गर्दै पाठक ३ सय १५ मतान्तरसहित विजयी भएका हुन् ।
निर्वाचन समितिका अनुसार पाठकले ४ हजार ७ सय ८४ मत प्राप्त गरेका छन् भने प्रतिद्वन्द्वी मिश्रले ४ हजार ४ सय ६९ मत पाएका छन् । अध्यक्षका अर्का उम्मेदवार घनबहादुर शाहले ३ हजार ६ सय ४४ मत प्राप्त गरेका छन् ।
निर्वाचनमा पाठक, मिश्र र शाह प्यानलसहित प्रतिस्पर्धामा थिए । मिश्र प्यानल पूर्ण रूपमा पराजित भएको छ भने शाह प्यानलबाट एक सदस्य मात्र विजयी भएका छन् ।
अन्य अधिकांश पदमा पनि पाठक प्यानलकै उम्मेदवार विजयी भएका छन् । उपाध्यक्षमा उत्तम जोशी ४ हजार ३ सय ३ मतसहित निर्वाचित भए । उनका प्रतिस्पर्धी ईश्वरप्रसाद जोशीले ३ हजार ९ सय ४ तथा उपेन्द्र विष्टले ३ हजार १ सय ९५ मत प्राप्त गरेका छन् ।
लेखा सुपरिवेक्षण समितिको संयोजकमा गणेशप्रसाद जोशी ५ हजार १ सय ७२ मतसहित विजयी भएका छन् । उनका प्रतिस्पर्धी चेतराज जोशीले ५ हजार ३३ मत पाएका छन् । समितिको सदस्यमा खेमराज पाठक (६,०४३) र गणेशप्रसाद पाध्याय (४,५५९) विजयी भएका छन् ।
कार्यसमितिका ७ सदस्य पदमध्ये ४ जना पाठक प्यानलबाट निर्वाचित भएका छन् भने २ स्वतन्त्र र १ जना शाह प्यानलबाट विजयी भएका छन् । सदस्यमा स्वतन्त्र उम्मेदवार केशवराज जोशी सर्वाधिक ५ हजार १ सय ४३ मतसहित विजयी भएका छन् ।
यस्तै, कोपिला कुँवर (४,११२), गणेश बम (३,४२६), जयराज जोशी (३,२८०) र लक्ष्मीराज पन्त (३,२७६) निर्वाचित भएका छन् । स्वतन्त्र उम्मेदवार खेमराज पाण्डेय (३,१३२) तथा शाह प्यानलका दीर्घबहादुर शाह (३,११८) पनि सदस्यमा विजयी भएका छन् ।
धनगढीमा प्रधान कार्यालय रहेको नवजीवन सहकारी संस्था देशकै अग्रणी सहकारी संस्थामध्ये एक मानिन्छ । कुल ४० हजार ८ सय १४ शेयर सदस्य रहेको सहकारीको शनिबार सम्पन्न निर्वाचनमा १५ हजार २ सय ४१ मत खसेको थियो ।
Dhangadhi. Gopal Raj Pathak has been elected as the chairman of Navajivan Cooperative Society in Dhangadhi. Pathak won with a margin of 315 votes, cleanly sweeping his nearest rival Keshav Raj Mishra.
According to the election committee, Pathak received 4,784 votes, while his opponent Mishra received 4,469 votes. Another candidate for the presidency, Ghana Bahadur Shah, received 3,644 votes.
Pathak, Mishra and Shah were in the fray in the election. Mishra's panel was completely defeated, while only one member from Shah's panel won.
Candidates from the Pathak panel have also won in most of the other positions. Uttam Joshi was elected as the vice-chairman with 4,303 votes. His competitors Ishwor Prasad Joshi received 3,904 votes and Upendra Bista received 3,195 votes.
Ganesh Prasad Joshi has won the position of coordinator of the Accounts Supervision Committee with 5,172 votes. His opponent Chetraj Joshi has received 5,033 votes. Khemraj Pathak (6,043) and Ganesh Prasad Padhyay (4,559) have won the position of committee member.
Of the 7 member posts of the working committee, 4 have been elected from the Pathak panel, 2 have been elected as independents and 1 has been elected from the Shah panel. Independent candidate Keshav Raj Joshi has won with the highest number of 5,143 votes.
Similarly, Kopila Kunwar (4,112), Ganesh Bam (3,426), Jayaraj Joshi (3,280) and Laxmiraj Pant (3,276) have been elected. Independent candidate Khemraj Pandey (3,132) and Dirgha Bahadur Shah (3,118) of the Shah panel have also won as members.
Navajivan Cooperative Society, headquartered in Dhangadhi, is considered one of the leading cooperatives in the country. The cooperative, which has a total of 40,814 share members, received 15,241 votes in the election held on Saturday.
