ट्रम्पले भने–मैले आफ्ना प्रतिनिधिहरुलाई हतारमा इरानसँग कुनै सम्झौता नगर्न भनेको छु

काठमाडौँ। अमेरिकी राष्ट्रपति डोनाल्ड ट्रम्पले आफ्ना प्रतिनिधिहरूलाई इरानसँग ‘हतारमा कुनै सम्झौता नगर्न’ निर्देशन दिएका छन्।

ट्रम्पले आफ्नो ट्रुथ सोसल पोस्टमा लेखेका छन्, ‘वार्ता व्यवस्थित र सार्थक रूपमा अघि बढिरहेको छ र मैले आफ्ना प्रतिनिधिहरूलाई हतारमा कुनै सम्झौता नगर्न भनेको छु, किनकि समय हाम्रो पक्षमा छ।’

उनले सम्झौता गर्न दुवै पक्षले पर्याप्त समय लिनुपर्ने र यसलाई सही तरिकाले सम्पन्न गर्नुपर्ने बताएका छन्।

यद्यपि, ट्रम्पले इरानले परमाणु हतियार वा परमाणु बम बनाउन वा प्राप्त गर्न नसक्ने कुरा स्पष्ट हुनुपर्ने पनि बताएका छन्।

उता, इजरायलका प्रधानमन्त्री बेन्जामिन नेतन्याहुले पनि ‘इरानको परमाणु खतरा अन्त्य गर्नुपर्ने’मा जोड दिएका छन्। उनले इरान–अमेरिका वार्ताको सन्दर्भमा शनिबार राति ट्रम्पसँग फोनमा कुराकानी भएको जानकारी दिएका छन्।

यसअघि अमेरिकी विदेशमन्त्री मार्को रुबियोले दिल्लीमा आयोजित एक पत्रकार सम्मेलनमा इरानसँगको वार्तामा उल्लेखनीय प्रगति भएको र यसबारे छिट्टै कुनै घोषणा हुन सक्ने बताएका थिए।

रुबियोले होर्मुज जलघाँटीको विषयमा पनि ‘सकारात्मक समाचार’ आउने संकेत दिएका छन्।

Kathmandu. US President Donald Trump has instructed his representatives to 'not make any hasty deals' with Iran.

Trump wrote in his Truth Social post, "The talks are proceeding in an orderly and meaningful manner and I have instructed my representatives not to make any hasty agreements, as time is on our side."

He said that both sides should take sufficient time to reach an agreement and complete it properly.

However, Trump has also said it should be clear that Iran cannot build or acquire nuclear weapons or nuclear bombs.

Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has also stressed the need to 'end the Iranian nuclear threat.' He said he spoke with Trump on the phone on Saturday night regarding the Iran-US talks.

Earlier, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, at a press conference in Delhi, said that significant progress had been made in talks with Iran and that an announcement could be made soon.

Rubio also hinted at "positive news" regarding the Strait of Hormuz.
