Huawei Claims Breakthrough in Semiconductor Chip Technology

Beijing. Chinese technology company Huawei has claimed to have achieved a new breakthrough in semiconductor chip technology. The company has stated that it is developing new technology that will enable it to produce advanced chips within the next five years amidst US sanctions.

At a semiconductor conference held in Shanghai, China, Huawei stated that by 2031, it will be able to design its high-end chips with transistor density equivalent to the 1.4 nanometer process.
