Madhesh Province Government Spends Only 21% of Budget in 11 Months

Janakpurdham. The Madhesh Province government has managed to spend only 21 percent of its budget in the first 11 months of the current fiscal year. From the beginning of the fiscal year in Saun until the end of Jestha, the provincial government has spent 21.24 percent of its total budget.

According to the Provincial Treasury Comptroller Office, out of a total budget of Rs 46 billion 983.351 million, the provincial government has only spent Rs 9 billion 980.40126 million by the end of Jestha. With only one month left in the fiscal year, the provincial government still has over Rs 37 billion in budget remaining.
